The Suzhou Branch of Jiangsu medical device inspection institute is jointly built by the Provincial Institute and Suzhou high tech Zone, specializing in the registration inspection, market supervision and inspection of medical device products, entrusted inspection by all social parties, export certification inspection, quality arbitration inspection and other testing work. The testing capability covers electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, etc. the testing objects include medical electronic instruments, medical optical equipment, endoscope equipment, medical electroacoustic equipment, high-frequency microwave equipment, in vitro clinical diagnosis equipment, etc., which have passed the laboratory qualification certification of CNAs and other laboratories respectively.

Suzhou Institute of biomedical engineering technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) is the only National Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) focusing on biomedical instruments, reagents and biomaterials. The research institute Park covers an area of 208 acres of land, with a total construction area of 78000 square meters of scientific research and supporting houses, equipment investment of 278 million yuan and total assets of 1.2 billion yuan. Research interests: medical optical technology, medical inspection technology, medical imaging technology, medical acoustic technology, medical electronic technology and rehabilitation engineering technology. Suzhou Institute of medical devices, Southeast University

Suzhou Medical Device Research Institute of Southeast University is jointly built by Southeast University, Suzhou National High tech Industrial Development Zone and Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute. Relying on the high-quality regional resources of Suzhou high tech Zone in terms of economy, industry and policy, combined with the innovative model of the Provincial Institute of industry and research in terms of system and mechanism, the Institute carries out cutting-edge technology R & D in the field of medical devices, and creates a high-end medical device R & D platform and engineering transformation center of "industry university research medicine" cooperation ecology. Professional direction: organ chip, biomedical materials, imaging and big data, IVD and detection technolog.

Jiangsu medical device availability test platform

Jiangsu medical device availability test platform is jointly built by Jiangsu medical device inspection institute, yuanliman (Suzhou) medical product availability evaluation company, SGS General Standard Technical Service Co., Ltd., Shanghai University of technology, Social Affairs Bureau of Suzhou high tech Zone and subordinate medical institutions. It is the first professional availability test platform of fully simulated medical environment in China.
The platform provides accurate and reliable design change basis for medical devices and related medical service industries, greatly reduces the Practical risk of medical devices after listing, and provides strong technical support for the supervision of medical device industry.

Sanitation & Environment Technology Institute, Soochow University

Sanitation & Environment Technology Institute, Soochow University is a wholly-owned company under Soochow University. It has the qualification of third-party inspection of medical devices. It is the only testing institution in China that has passed the category audit of medical devices by FDA, and the report is directly recognized by FDA. At present, the business scope covers medical device testing, environmental testing, food safety testing, etc.
In terms of export testing of domestic passive devices, the market scale in 2020 is about 120 million yuan, and the Institute occupies nearly 80% of the market share. Its overseas business scope covers more than 30 countries such as the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Japan and South Korea.

Union-med clinical research & training center

Union-med clinical research & training center was established in 2016 to provide experimental and surgical clinical skills training services for medical device products from all over the country. Union-med has four sets of experimental systems, which can carry out four surgical open and minimally invasive endoscopic experiments at the same time. In the next three years, Union-med will also invest more than 18 million yuan to cooperate in the preclinical R & D and training of minimally invasive surgery, endoscopy and interventional surgery based on advanced animal models, and provide intraoperative precision surgical implantation, postoperative observation and tissue detection services with the help of standardized experimental platform.
